Winter Seasonals

Bells Winter White Ale
A Wheat Ale brewed with American Wheat and a proprietary blend of Hefe and classic Belgian-style yeasts. A refreshing winter alternative created from the subtle fusion of two classic flavors.
DuClaw Devil's Milk
Devil’s Milk is an American-style Barley Wine. This beer exhibits a wealth of fruit flavors, from pears to plums to raisins. Devil’s Milk is dry hopped (hops added after fermentation) for a strong bite that balances its big malt backbone. Served in a snifter glass because of the high abv, barley wines are perfect as a relaxing “after-dinner” drink or nite cap.

German brewers were onto something centuries ago when they created rich bock beers for the winter. Our version is spiced with cinnamon, ginger, and orange peel for a deep flavor and malty finish that will warm you on a cold winter’s night.

Hofbräu Winter Spezial

Times like the Christmas season call for a special, elegant brew with a festive touch.  Hofbrau Winter Special offers a delectable full-bodied flavor with a blossomy fragrance and a fine aroma suggestive of hops. The result is a distinguished brew for special occasions.
Boulevard Snow and Tell
Snow & Tell is composed of our base pale malt, crystal/caramel malt, amber malt and just a touch of Beechwood smoked malt from Germany. At just under 1% of the total malt bill, the smoked malt lends subtle complexity without overpowering the layers of caramel and toffee flavors contributed by the crystal malt. Hopped with Magnum, Chinook and Styrian Goldings, Snow & Tell sees brief aging on medium toasted oak chips at the end of fermentation.
New Belgium Accumulation
Accumulation White IPA was inspired by the white beauty that falls each winter from our Colorado sky. Flurries of Mosaic and Amarillo hops bring soft fruit and citrus flavor, followed by a layer of bitter. Piled high in IBUs, Accumulation will make your winter brighter.
Yards Poor Richard
Bronze Medal Winner in the Indigenous Ales category at the 2013 Great American Beer Festival. Based on Franklin’s original recipe, which called for barley, molasses, and essence of spruce, our Tavern Spruce is as approachable and engaging as was the man himself. We source blue spruce clippings from a local organic farmer, steeping them in the kettle to create this one-of-a-kind deep amber ale. Originally brewed exclusively for Philadelphia’s historic City Tavern, Spruce is now available throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Jolly Shandy is a Winter Shandy made with orange, Pomegranate, and spice. 4.4% ABV
Terrapin Moo Hoochiato

Brewed with lactose sugar for a creamy mouth feel and a touch of sweetness.
Leinenkugel's  Bavarian Dunkel
Bavarian Dunkel has a fruity, toffee-like malt character with a subtle sweetness followed by a fain fruit undertone.
Brewers Art St. Festivus
Dark Brown Winter Warmer with Curaçao Orange Peel and Ginger. Inspired by Seinfeld (we first made this beer in 1997 and it is a testament to the folly of giving your beer a pop culture name.) To me, the beer evokes winter. It really warms the bones without being too over-the-top strong or spiced.
